Beginning their work in sales, the Stray family has always had a love of teddy bears and dreamed of owning their own company. Betty (mother) and Jamie (daughter) are the company’s primary designers while Jim (father) and Brad (son) are responsible for the general organization and operations of Bearington Collection. The unique collaboration of the “designers” and the “organizers” is what united Bearington Collection® to become what it is today.
Artists by nature, Betty and Jamie are always creating and improving upon their designs. Over the past eleven years, the Stray family has worked side-by-side to create adorable plush animals, slippers, and rattles that have made quite an impression on the plush industry around the world. They have earned countless awards including Teddy Bear of the Year’s Industry Choice Award and Public Choice Awards. While there have been plenty of changes in the product line over the past decade, the care and dedication put into creating these charming plush items, filled with personality, has remained the same.
